Pocket Shelf

Wasatch Design Collective, 2015

The Pocket Shelf, which references Miura and Tachi's origami tube, is created by cutting chevron shapes out of thick felt. The pieces are then sewn together creating a shelf that transform from 3D shelves when hung to a flat panel that can be rolled away for storage.
